CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 35(JUD) "An Act relating to sexual                       
misconduct as grounds for imposing disciplinary sanctions on persons           
licensed by the State Medical Board" was read the second time.                 
                                                                               
Senator Green moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption               
of the Health, Education and Social Services Senate Committee                  
Substitute offered on page 1561.  Senator Duncan objected, then

There being no further objections, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR                        
HOUSE BILL NO. 35(HES) "An Act relating to sexual misconduct                   
as grounds for imposing disciplinary sanctions on persons licensed             
by the State Medical Board" was adopted and read the second time.              
                                                                               
Senator Salo offered Amendment No. 1 :                                          
                                                                               
Page 2, lines 27 - 28:                                                         
	Delete all text following "patient"; and insert:                              
	"was the licensee's spouse at the time of the contact or,                     
immediately preceding the physician-patient relationship, was in a             
dating, courtship or engagement relationship with the licensee;"               
                                                                               
Senator Salo moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1.  Senator               
Leman objected.                                                                
                                                                               
The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?"  The roll
